Emitting particles filled the space around the earth and destroyed the satellite's electronics in a matter of months. The satellite managed to transmit many television programs, phone conversations and faxes. Telstar pioneered the satellite TV era.

Educated on his own, he became a teacher and promoter of ideas about space exploration and settlement. One of Tsiolkovsky's most significant ideas is space trains. Modern rockets, consisting of several adjacent stages, are the implementation of one of his projects. Tsiolkovsky is recognized as a thinker who was significantly ahead of his time.

Nikolai Lobachevsky is one of the creators of non-Euclidean geometry. He suggested that parallel lines may intersect, and tried to prove that this was impossible, but the formulas suggested otherwise, and it turned out that this is actually possible. There is an island to the north-east of Australia where the cult of aircraft worshipers is widespread. Adherents of this cult believe that manufactured goods are gifts of gods sent to natives, but taken away by evil white people. Natives build long lanes and depict the behavior of airbase soldiers in ritual dances, praying that a military plane will arrive and drop cargo with goods to the American base, and the military will, once again, share with the natives. This is an example of ‘magical thinking’ so prevalent among the modern inhabitants of the civilized world.
